Ultra Dark Honey

“Ultra-Dark” Knotweed Honey 

 Knotweed honey (also called bamboo honey) is a very dark honey with a pleasant sweetness, like a slightly milder buckwheat honey. The bees collect the nectar of the small, white Japanese Knotweed flowers in the Fall. The bees love the flowers and it is valued by beekeepers as an important source of nectar, as the blooms happen later in the season, when little else is flowering.
